Call for a tree ‘crack’ opening up and seeing daylight through. Said crack was a included bark stem union and the client was right it was opening and closing in the wind. The inclusion went from the base of the tree up to the union. Where sometimes a tree could be saved by removing weight out of the crown, the client chose to have the tree felled, in part due to its proximity to the powerline, BT, fence and road.
